Research:

Under the guidance of Dr. Luxin Wang, Zhuosheng is interested in food microbiology with a focus in microbial food safety. His current research topic is about microbial source tracking. In his recent project, he will establish and validate a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) based Bacteroidales detection system. In his undergraduate research project, Zhuosheng studied the behavior and survival of common food pathogens in low water activity food matrix such as dried apricots.
