Career Discovery Group (CDG) or First-Year Seminar - 1 unit

Winter Quarter (15-16 Units)

General Chemistry: CHE 002B - 5 units
Calculus: MAT 017B - 4 units
Nutrition: NUT 010 or NUT 010V - 3 units
GE Course - 4 units

Spring Quarter (15-16 Units)

General Chemistry: CHE 002C - 5 units
Calculus: MAT 017C - 4 units
Statistics: STA 013 - 4 units

Students can view GE requirements in the UC Davis General Catalog and check their progress toward GE completion in MyDegree. For inquiries related to the GE requirement, please consult your College Advising Dean's Office for assistance.

Placement Exams & Charts

Advance Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) credit will apply toward the minimum 180 unit requirement for a bachelor's degree; however, credit cannot be used to satisfy GE requirements. Depending on the score, AP/IB credit may be equivalent to some lower-division courses at UC Davis.
