Dr. Martin Ruebelt is an accomplished scientific leader and product development expert with more than two decades of experience in the agricultural industry. He is currently the Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President of Research and Development at NatureSweet, the largest vertically integrated controlled environment agricultural company in North America. In his role as CSO, Dr. Ruebelt seamlessly melds transformative innovation with NatureSweet’s purpose of transforming the lives of agricultural workers. 

His distinguished career includes global roles at multinational agricultural companies, such as Bayer Crop Science, where he was Head of Global Consumer R&D for Vegetables. Dr. Ruebelt’s exceptional contributions were further acknowledged when he was honored as a Bayer and Monsanto Science Fellow, a testament to his success and the instrumental role he played in R&D, launching products at Bayer and Monsanto.  

Dr. Ruebelt’s academic journey includes earning his master’s in food chemistry from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and a Ph.D. in Food & Biochemistry from the Technical University of Munich, Germany.
