Anika is currently the Vice President of Manufacturing Quality and Microbiology at Bonduelle Fresh Americas, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bonduelle and home of the Ready Pac Foods brand. The business unit focuses on fresh vegetables, salads and fresh meal solutions for the Americas.
Anika joined Bonduelle Fresh Americas in 2016 as the Director of Food Safety. In her current role, she is responsible for leading all aspects of quality and food safety programs at the manufacturing facilities such as quality and food safety programs execution, supplier compliance, regulatory compliance, quality management system development, microbiology testing and sanitation programs, risk management and continuous improvement.
Prior to Bonduelle Fresh Americas, Anika served as Corporate Quality Manager at Del Monte Foods and Sr. Quality and Food Safety Manager at Earthbound Farm. During her time at Del Monte, she supported the manufacturing facilities both domestically and internationally with FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) implementation and led the quality programs for Store Brands business. Right out of school, she joined the team that was responsible for implementing preventive food safety programs in response to the E. coli O157:H7 2006 outbreak in spinach.
Anika has a Master of Science in food science with an emphasis on food microbiology from the University of California, Davis. In pursuit of always learning, she also completed a Graduate Certificate Program in Applied Statistics from the Pennsylvania State University. She currently lives in Southern California with her husband, Mohit, and their four children. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking and playing with her children.
