Currently serving as Vice President of Quality at The Simply Good Foods Company, Anika plays a pivotal role in overseeing food safety and quality management for the organization. Simply Good Foods is a leading consumer-packaged food and beverage company offering protein bars, ready-to-drink shakes, sweet and salty snacks, baked goods, protein powders and confectionery products under the Quest, Atkins and Owyn brands.

With a rich and diverse career spanning 15+ years in the food industry, Anika has honed a deep expertise in food safety and quality management across several prominent companies such as Bonduelle, Del Monte Foods and Earthbound Farm. As a dedicated leader in this field, she successfully led initiatives that ensure product integrity, safety compliance, and operational excellence in every stage of the food production process.

Armed with an educational foundation with M.S. in Food Science from University of California, Davis, Anika blends technical knowledge with practical experience to drive continuous improvements. From developing quality control systems to overseeing food safety audits and risk assessments, she is committed to fostering a culture of quality that meets regulatory standards, consumer expectations and organizational goals. 

Known for her collaborative leadership style, Anika has built strong cross-functional teams and mentored rising talent in food safety and quality roles. Through a combination of strategic oversight and hands-on problem-solving, she has delivered significant results, minimizing risks, enhancing product quality, and improving operational efficiencies.

Outside of work, Anika enjoys spending time with her family in Southern California, where she lives with her spouse and their four children. A passionate mother and dedicated advocate for an active lifestyle, she makes time for exercise, yoga, and dancing.
