M.S., Brewing & Beverage Science
B.S. Mechanical Engineering, University of Tulsa, 2011
Scott is interested in characterizing the intersection between water, energy, and the brewing industry. For his thesis project, he will undertake a thorough engineering audit and Water-Energy Nexus analysis of a production brewery to identify opportunities for reducing energy and water usage in the industry. He would like to become a sustainability consultant for brewers and other beverage manufacturers; he is also studying the winemaking process through the V&E department. More broadly, his interest lies with the science and art of fermented beverages.
