Karen Nofziger

Department Manager

Duties

In consultation with Department Chair, Karen manages the department's administrative, business, human resources, technology support, and fiscal activities, including budget control, resource and space planning, oversight of instructional and research programs, and organizational/operational improvements. Karen acts as the liaison between departmental and campus resource personnel. Karen serves on many department and campus committees.

• UC Davis Individual Incentive/Recognition Award for outstanding achievement in two areas:  graduate admissions/fellowship and computing support, 1996-97
• UC Davis Team Incentive/Recognition Award for performance excellence in implementation of a new program, 1997-98
• UC Davis Team Incentive/Recognition Award for extraordinary teamwork performed during critical illness of another staff member, 1997-98
