Duties
Bruce is responsible for all purchasing for departmental, storeroom, and research grant needs. In consultation with the end user, Bruce locates appropriate vendors with advantageous pricing, places the order, and follows through to ensure packages are delivered in a safe and timely manner. As he is the equipment custodian for the department, Bruce is responsible to ensure that equipment is handled and tracked in compliance with University policy, and he serves as a resource to department personnel on equipment purchases. He also assists with computer resource needs as requested.
