Laura Gillies

Laura has an Honors B.S. in Chemistry from Washington State University
and now studies utilization of C. elegans and E. coli
as the biochemical basis of polyunsaturated fatty acid metabolism, and effects on human health,
in the lab of Bruce German. When not playing with worms and bacteria, she enjoys an eclectic mix of activities including:
skiing, soccer, mountain biking, home coffee roasting,
doyles, four square, and ruling the world.
